Flex Circuits

Flex circuits provide lighter weight alternatives and smaller package sizes to traditional wires or rigid PC boards. Amphenol brings extraordinary design and manufacturing expertise of flex circuit assemblies from simple component placement to complex multi-layer assemblies

Our flex circuits are manufactured in our world class manufacturing facility in China where we also house state of the art assembly equipment including automated pick and place of SMT components. To offer seamless service, we have applications and design engineering, as well as sales, marketing and additional assembly capabilities in the U.S.

Wherever possible, we integrate our flex circuits as the transition from connector to board level assembly or connector to cable assembly to provide a manufacturing optimized solution that preserves signal and power integrity while designing the product for repeatable, high quality, low cost manufacturability .

For Medical applications requiring signal integrity that will guarantee precise electrical performance, dedicated engineers create electrical product models prior to manufacturing. Simulations range from impedance simulation to full spice models of assemblies.
