ALDEN LAUNCHES COMPACT 78 POLE, CIRCULAR CONNECTOR FOR MEDICAL, SINGLE USE, AND GENERAL INSTRUMENTATION APPLICATIONS
Alden Products Company continues to expand its Pulse-Lok® line of medical instrumentation connectors with the release of the high-density PL-1200 Series Connector. The PL-1200 Series offers up to 78 contact positions in a package measuring slightly over 1" in diameter and is available in both low-cost disposable and rugged reusable models. The PL-1200 features Alden's signature Pulse-Lok® coupling, a unique push and click auto-latching mechanism that greatly simplifies mating and provides tactile confirmation that the connector pair is securely engaged. What's more, low-cost receptacle components and enhanced wire termination options such as pre-filled solder cups aid in reducing the cost of multi-pin disposable catheters and electronic instruments by reducing assembly time.
