AMPHENOL FORMS MEDICAL SOLUTIONS TEAM TO BRING FOCUS TO MEDICAL EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURERS
Amphenol announces the formation of Amphenol Medical Solutions – a partnership between Amphenol divisions including Amphenol Alden Products Company – in order to deliver an enhanced level of connector and cable assembly expertise to medical equipment manufacturers.
The Amphenol Medical Solutions Team of operations is aligned to provide a broad range of product expertise and technical capabilities related to medical device interconnect solutions. Further, with comprehensive global capabilities in both product development and manufacturing, the Amphenol Medical Solutions Team can deliver products and services wherever customer needs arise.
Amphenol Medical Solutions provides cables, connectors, cable assemblies, and accessory medical devices. Amphenol combines design know how and an industry-leading broad product portfolio in RF, Fiber, high speed data transmission, shielding, filtering, high voltage, high density, embedded electronics and other areas of interconnect expertise to deliver comprehensive interconnect solutions for medical device applications.
The operations forming the Amphenol Medical Solutions Team bring a long history of experience serving virtually all of the leading medical device manufacturers. Amphenol's products have been used in a broad array of applications, including imaging (CT, MRI and X-ray), patient monitoring and telemetry, defibrillation, and for both diagnostic and therapeutic instrumentation. Engineers located around the world are able to work on customized, application-specific interconnect products directly with their OEM counterparts.
