ALDEN PRODUCTS COMPANY JOINS THE AMPHENOL FAMILY OF INTERCONNECT PRODUCT BRANDS
On March 3rd, Alden Products Company became a wholly owned subsidiary of the Wallingford, Connecticut headquartered Amphenol Corporation. Effective immediately, Alden's new name is Amphenol Alden Products Company. Alden, a leading manufacturer of performance-engineered interconnect products based in Brockton, Massachusetts recently celebrated its 75th year and has enjoyed a long tradition of product innovation. Alden is best known for its signature line of Pulse-Lok® auto-coupling connectors, high voltage, and custom overmolded cable assemblies.
Joining forces with the Amphenol Corporation will allow Alden's customers to benefit from improved sales and distribution channels and access to the broad portfolio of Amphenol interconnect products and technologies. This expanded offering will enable Amphenol Alden Products to provide more products, services, and logistical support to its customers wherever they may be located around the world.
Amphenol's global sales and distribution network improves Alden's access to world markets, significantly increasing its presence in Europe and the Far East. Joining the Amphenol family provides access to production facilities in strategic geographic locations, allowing Amphenol Alden Products Company to better support its customers' remote manufacturing sites. While Amphenol Alden Products Company will continue to manufacture high-quality products in its US and Mexican facilities, Amphenol's global presence will allow Alden to extend exceptionally competitive value to the international marketplace.
