Pulse-Lok® Auto-Coupling Connectors

High Pin Counts, High Density, Low Insertion Force

As the functionality of today's electronic device becomes ever more complex, the discrete circuitry inside the device is placing more and more demands on the instrumentation connectors located outside. Alden Products is meeting these challenges and leading the circular connector class by offering products like the PL-900 with up to 52 contact positions in a housing that is less than .900" in diameter. Corresponding contact densities are available in shell sizes ranging down to the .500" diameter PL-500 Series.

High contact density is critical in reducing the size and weight of interconnects located in-line or on handpieces. Cable management issues are also addressed by adopting a connector that can accommodate the circuitry that traditionally required two or three interconnects. Alden's high density contacts are designed specifically to yield a reliable normal force / low insertion combination. These attributes complement the fluid mating action of the Pulse-Lok® connector in the critical applications where it is typically applied.
